Hospital Bed
In a tired house, there’s a fireplace, but it’s burning quick, the glow hit’s your face
You warm your hands, I kiss your cheek, we go to bed, for another week
You look at me, with the softest eye's, as the roof falls in, the water flies
The floor is wet, on our hands and knees, we clean up quick, we go to sleep
I don't want to live in a hospital, I’d like to live at home
On the shortest days, and the longest nights, I’ll stay in your arms, we’ll be out of sight
When we hold our breathe, time with cease
Even on the coldest nights, our hearts don’t freeze
I don't want to live in a hospital, I’d like to live at home
